It has been a great year for KIDS Club and its members. And what better way to celebrate it than sharing our happiness to the children!

On 12 December 2015, members of the club visited Tarlac City, Tarlac to have an early Christmas celebration with the children from Home for the Girls, Boys Town, Special Education class (SPED), and underprivileged families living in the secluded areas. This is in collaboration with Mr. Christopher “Topey” Delos Reyes, a long time friend of President Evalyn Evangelista.
The team first went to Lingap Center of the Department of Social Welfare Department (DSWD) which is the venue of the Christmas party for the children from Boystown and Home for the Girls. During the two-hour programme, the children had a great time watching the magic shows; playing games with the clowns; getting ice creams and cotton candies from the food trucks; and enjoying good food. KIDS Club also gave them loot bags and hygienic kits to take home.

After that, the team transferred to a 1936 ancestral house located at the City Center for another Christmas party with the students of SPED. It was a fun time not only for the children but also for the team as well. There were lots of singing and dancing! They also received loot bags and hygienic kits from KIDS Club as Christmas presents.

And for the final leg, the team roved around Tarlac City to visit some underprivileged families and distribute gift packages. Inside each package are basic necessities (coffee, sugar, and canned goods); jellies and candies for the children; and spaghetti packs for their Noche Buena (Christmas Eve Dinner).

It was a jam-packed day for all but all our efforts paid off when we saw hear the laughters and smiles of the children. To all our families; friends; colleagues; and sponsors, our heart-felt thank you for your untiring support!
